BC/2.5/64 R & R Series  Party Pardee   By the Sacramento Bike Hikers.  4/7/18  Join R&R on this wonderful century/party, the 3rd in the series!  This event is a true early season favorite and always fills quickly! They've offered the same two routes every year: 50k and a 100k that traverses the gentle rolling lush green hills with views of Camanche Lake, spring flowers, oak and pine forests and the 100k route crosses the beautiful Pardee Dam before returning to Ione.  Pronounced “Eye-Own”  there is a delightful BBQ/party & vendor expo at the finish with beer and live music!  I have also created a slightly shorter route that trims some of the busy/hilly portions, which allows more time to enjoy the finish line party!    Reg: NOW FULL Fear not, I have 3 tickets, so please contact me!  There is also a "registration transfer" link on their site, so you can get a ticket there too!  (Event Link Below)

The R&R organizers, Randall Braun & Ron Dell'Aquila, who’ve ridden & vetted this event, will be the hosts. If you’ve wanted to try a new ride, time's a wastin, sign up now!  this is a great opportunity to go with your WW buddies and discover your new favorite century.

    BC/1.7/64   R & R Series   Konocti Challenge   by Lakeport Rotary.  10/6/18

This is the next to last R&R Series event of 2018!  This is a true “jewel” and an illustration for how to organize a great community based benefit ride.  All the proceeds go to local charities and the area was hit again by fires just days after the 2017 event.  The scenic 64 mile route is a clockwise circumnavigation of Clearlake, the largest lake within CA.  Each of the festive rest stops is staffed by volunteers from different local charities that compete for “Rider Favorite” and the winner receives a large % of funds raised!  The finish line BBQ/repast overlooking the lake is delightful.   This century often wins Cycle California’s “Best Metric!”    Reg is NOW OPEN!   http://www.konoctichallenge.com/
