Join Jakub Solovsky; (jakubsolovsky@gmail.com, 720-241-1724) for a challenging pre-ice cream ride.

Meet in front of the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce (321 University Ave, Los Altos, CA 94022) at 7:00 for 7:15 start. We start early to make it back for ice cream hopefully with some margin.

Parking at Lincoln Avenue.

After the flat Foothill Expressway, we warm up on Mount Eden and Pierce Road before the proper climbing starts. From Saratoga we climb the steep sequence of Norton - Kittridge - Quickert - On Orbit - Bohlman.After a gravel connection on Montevina Ridge Trail (except for a very short segment rideable on a road bike) we descend Montevina Road to the Lexington Reservoir (bailout option to Los Gatos) and climb Black Road to Skyline. We stop at Castle Rock Park and continue rollers on Skyline. The ride ends with a descent of Page Mill and Altamont back to Lost Altos.

If we are significantly faster than the plan, we can do an optional bonus round on Page Mill.

Bring enough water and snacks for the ride.
