- RideWithGPS, can switch on the fly between Google and Open Street Maps, must login with free account to create routes (added route heatmaps in 2020 for paying members)
- Strava Global Heat Map, useful for seeing popular cycling routes (only for paying members as of late 2020)
- BikeRouteToaster, can switch on the fly between Google and Open Street Maps, login not required to create routes
- MapMyRide, displays ads to unregistered visitors
- Public water fountains in the Bay Area on Google Maps

Ride Signup App
Instead of using the paper signup sheet, there is an iOS app that can be used to sign up riders: Western Wheelers Ride Sign In, available on the app store. If you have some regulars that repeatedly come to your rides, you can add them to a template for easy signup.
