A/0.5/13 CRUISING TO SHORELINE

Ski season is (mostly) over, and Howard Shafer (408-712-4573 or jhshafer@sbcglobal.net) and Jacquette Ward are back. Meet them at Cuesta Park (at the back of the parking lot at Cuesta and Nilda) at 10:45 am before the WW Spring Picnic for this easy ride to the shoreline baylands. The ride takes the Stevens Creek Trail to get to the baylands and the Permanente Creek Trail to return. It is a flat ride except for a few overpasses and underpasses. We will be back in time for the picnic, for which you must register separately on the WW website. Bad weather will cancel this ride. Construction may change the route (We’ve seen construction along the Permanente Creek Trail), and could add up to two miles to it, but we promise that they will be interesting miles.
