**IMPROMPTU* C+/4 (3000')/25 PURISIMA AND SKEGGS MTB

C+/4 (3000')/25 PURISIMA AND SKEGGS MTB. Meet Rob Block (408-420-7551, the.rob.block@gmail.com) and Tim Valderrama (timothy.valderrama@gmail.com) at 8:30 AM at The Purisima Creek trailhead, intersection of Higgins Canyon Rd & Purisima Creek Road in Half Moon Bay.  We will climb the Purisima trail (steep but not very technical), then head over to the mountain biking haven El Corte de Madera Preserve (aka Skeggs), entering at the south entrance on Star Hill Rd and riding the maze of trails there before climbing out to Skyline (STEEP and TECHNICAL) where will descend back to the start.

This is not a beginner ride.  Mountain bikes required.  Please being plenty of water and food as there is none available on the route (except wild berries and acorns).  But we'll regroup frequently and stay together.

Directions to the meeting point:  From the peninsula, take 92 west to Half Moon Bay, south (left) on Main St, left on Higgins Canyon Road and follow it to the end.
