Join Randall Braun on the 41st annual running of The Delta Century, Saturday April 30th, a well-organized event by the Stockton Bicycle Club.
C/0.1/67 (yes, it’s very flat and it’s very scenic!)
They offer three routes and I will be riding their 67 mile route.
It has a wonderful sampling of quiet roads through vineyards, along delta river levees, across old bridges and into small towns little changed in the last half century.
And as a bonus, we will also get to take a ride on the J-Mack, one of the last two remaining river ferries in CA!
The start is at Jessie’s Grove winery, located at: 1973 W. Turner Road, Lodi, Ca. one of the oldest wineries in central Ca.
Let’s gather before 7am and hit the road right after that.
There are three rest stops, and a fun finish line gathering and delicious meal in the bucolic oak shaded winery meadow.
Parking is plentiful in an adjoining winery meadow.
My cell is 415-265-4663, call or email if you have any questions.
Registration is available day-of as the pre-reg time has passed.
