for an early morning ascent in time to enjoy the sunrise from atop the mountain.
Much of this ride will take place in darkness.
Lights are required.
Conditions are likely to be cold - it may be colder near the summit than at the base of the climb. Dress in layers and be prepared to add and remove clothing over the course of the ride. Sunrise on 3/15 is at 7:18 am. The observatory will not be open. Bring snacks. There is water available at the top. The ride will end at rush hour. Allow extra time to get home or to work after the ride.
