NEW Summer Series: The “G-3” Series! All of these “Go Get a Goody” rides are just 20 gentle miles to take a smaller bite out of your busy weekends. We’ll playfully wander thru residential neighborhoods in Mountain View, Los Altos and Palo Alto and mosey along paths, bridges and trails while utilizing some semi-secret shortcuts (ala Andy K) and then we’ll enjoy a brief sojourn near the mid-point for a scrumptious morsel that will probably/hopefully be zeroed out by the few hundred calories burned while riding! Bring a little cash, $5 will probably cover it.
Meet Randall Braun (415-265-4663) at the La Avenida Stevens Creek Trailhead (NEW Start Location!) at 9:45am for a 10am start. (Directions to the Start: take Shoreline Blvd north over Hwy 101, then right on Pear Ave, right on Inigo Way, then left on La Avenida to the end and park there) These 20 mile long routes vary in “gain” from a very flat 9ft/mile, to 13ft/mile, 2 at 20ft/mile and 1 at 35ft/mile, all well within the ability of most any A, B, or slothful C WW cyclist! The Goody stop options include sweets like “Croi-nuts” Ice Cream, cookies, etc. Maps/cue sheets will be provided but the route choice of the week will be a surprise until you arrive!
