**IMPROMPTU* B+,C/5.3 (3200')/24 ROCK AND ROLL

B+,C/5.3 (3200')/24  ROCK AND ROLL.  Meet Anne Paulson (Anne.Paulson@gmail.com) at 9:00 AM at McKenzie Park, Los Altos. We'll Roll our way up to the Rocks, also known as Black Mountain, at the top of dirt Montebello Road, in this second of a series of rides to the Rocks. Today we'll go up Page Mill and continue up Montebello Road (a trail) to the top. We'll continue down toward the paved portion of Montebello, with a brief digression on the beautiful Waterwheel Creek Trail. Then we'll head back home. Snacks and warm clothes are a good idea. The Montebello descent can be frigid.  Road bikes with wider tires are fine, if you're OK with gravel. The Page Mill side of Montebello has worse gravel than the Montebello side.
