This is a scenic gravel ride. We go into the Bay, through trails with water on both sides. Minimal traffic even when we make it back to paved roads. Lunch at Sancho's in Palo Alto.

This ride is great fun, but keep in mind it contains a good amount of gravel. We'd recommend a gravel or city bike with 38mm tires or more. A mountain bike will do just fine, especially those with a battery and motor. :-) That said, if you are comfortable doing gravel with skinny 28mm tires, all the power to you!
