Meet Gerard Vurens (408-859-2264) and Tony Vecchiet at 10:00 AM for a 10:15 departure from Baylands Athletic Center, 1900 Geng Rd, Palo Alto, CA 94303. This route follows the many bike trails in the South Bay and over the Dumbarton Bridge. Please review the route carefully as some sections are packed dirt/gravel. If you've done the Hashery ride you know the conditions. This route was designed for road bikes, though I'd caution skinny tires (23/25). The route has regroups and restrooms about every 10 miles. Lunch is planned at the Whole Foods in Fremont at mile 31.5.
