**IMPROMPTU* B/2/28 Peninsula Loop

This ride is for those looking for something easier than the LDT B ride. The route to lunch will include quiet roads through Belmont, San Mateo, Hillsborough, and Burlingame - a mostly flat route, but with one longer climb through Hillsborough that will include taking Black Mountain Road up to Skyline. This adds up to about 600 ft of climb over 2 miles. But we will take things at a very easy pace with frequent regroups so we don't leave anyone behind - primarily me. Lunch at Ike's Sandwiches in Burlingame (inside seating). On the way back we'll take a route that includes some modest San Mateo hills. Meet Mark Mack (mamack@comcast.net or 925-207-4993) at 10 am in Redwood Shores at the parking lot on the west side of Oracle headquarters so we can get started around 10:15. Take 101 to the Ralston/Marine Parkway exit and go east - toward the big green Oracle buildings. Turn left on Oracle Parkway (stoplight before you get to the buildings) and turn left at the first intersection (stop sign) into the parking lot.
