Monday is Canada Day and Howard’s Canadian. Let’s jump the gun and celebrate on Sunday. Meet Howard Shafer (408 712-4573 or jhshafer@sbcglobal.net) and Jacquette Ward at the Sunnyvale Community Center in Sunnyvale at 9:30 am for a 9:45 am departure. We’ll careen through Mountain View like Canadian hockey players (politely, of course). Our route will take us through Shoreline as well as parts of Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Sunnyvale. We may climb hills but they’ll be too small to properly be called hills. After lunch in Los Altos, we’ll complete our circle back to Sunnyvale. Bad weather may derail this ride, but hot weather will not.
