C/4(5500ft)/52 miles Saratoga Gap/Zayante Climb. Join Barry Mann (510-684-7270 barrymannmd@pacbell.net) and Wasi Wahid for a entertaining and challenging ride thru the Saratoga Gap on Sunday 12/18/2016! We will meet at 9:45 am for 10 am launch at the Saratoga Preserve Parking Lot on the southeast corner of the intersection of Hwy 9 and Skyline Blvd (google maps calls the address 28798 Big Basin Way, Los Gatos, CA 95033). The first 25 miles will be mostly downhill thru Castle Rock and Big Basin Parks, with a stop for food/drinks/bathrooms in Felton at Mountain Roasting (Safeway and Round Table also available there). Then we will start the 20 mile 3000ft climb up Zayante and Skyline and back to our starting spot. Rain cancels.
