UPDATE FOR 6/19/25
Hello to all the wonderful previous TTT riders, and any new riders too!
This is the last of the originally scheduled Thaco Thursday Tours, and we're going back to what is, IMHO, the BEST tacos and location of them all, La Cazuela!
We're also dong a slightly shorter route this time, at 27.2 miles, and a pleasant ~725 ft of gain, less than half of the previous TTT!
As in all previous TTT's, gather @ 9:45 am for a 10am roll out.
Start at Silicon Valley Bike Exchange, located at: 3961 East Bayshore Road, just north of San Antonio Rd. on the east side.
We will have lots of regroups, some with restrooms, and 24% will be on bike trails too!
After our tacos, the finish line is only 4 miles away!
I've heard there will be some construction on the Stevens Creek Trail at Moffett Blvd, so we are going through the Bayside Google Campus to avoid that.
New this time we will enjoy an early Coffee/Donuts @ Rogers Deli in MV, and a unique little LA Hills climb, (<100 ft / 0.1mi)
And as a bonus, we will regroup at 2 unique Hysterical Monuments en route, one in Los Altos Hills and the other in northern Palo Alto.
And if that's not enough, we get to have some delicious tacos and/or other delicious offerings at La Cazuela in East PA!

What is a “Thaco Thursday Tour” and what’s it all about?
Get ready for a NEW bi-monthly group ride series brought to you by Western Wheelers and Silicon Valley Bicycle Exchange! Starting on Thursday, February 6th, this exciting series will Start and Finish each ride at the Silicon Valley Bike Exchange (SVBE), located at 3961 East Bayshore Road, Palo Alto, just north of San Antonio Road.
We created this series to bring together cyclists to enjoy delicious tacos while supporting small local businesses and exploring the area’s bike-friendly paths, trails, and bridges. We also highlight some unique local history and our beautiful scenery, maybe we’ll discover some new things, and of course, we’ll have fun cycling together too!

The week's ride route will be posted to the Western Wheelers ride calendar on the Monday before the ride. Along with the route info and description, we’ll have Links to the Ride with GPS route and a PDF to print your own (old school) cue sheet too. Randall will bring 1 or 2 of those Maps and Q’s if anyone forgot theirs, just in case.
