Meet Robert Neff (robert@neffs.net, 650/804-1245) at 9:30 AM at Lexington Reservoir County Park, 200 yards east of the dam on Alma Bridge Road. Leave at 9:45. (Pay to park there, or park free elsewhere, and ride to the start via the gravel Los Gatos Creek Trail.)
Many Hills. Soda Springs to Weaver Rd, because Weaver has great views, then back down, ascend Old SC Highway to Summit (and great view #2 at the school water stop), then to Mt. Bache to Loma Prieta Way (the rare Santa Cruz mountain road named after a mountain) to past the end of the pavement, and the 3rd view spot - all the way to Monterey. Descend, lunch at Summit Store, then side trips to Wright Station, deep in the redwoods, and Aldercroft Heights on the way down. Did you know that ACTC rides used to ascend to summit via Aldercroft Heights, SJ Water district property (with an arrangement and a key), and Wright Station road? If you have not been on some of these roads, then come join this ride!

Should not be too hot this weekend, but bring 2 large waterbottles. Fit, adventurous cyclists may desire an added ascent of Black or Montevina. :)
