C,D/3.2 (3,550’) /44 EASTERN SIERRAS – PINE CREEK

A moderate Everest Challenge climb.  This route takes us to the top of Pine Creek Rd. (el. 7,425'). Meet at the Creekside Inn at 725 N Main St. in Bishop, CA. at 8:15 am for a prompt 8:30 departure. Possible birdwatching at #24 idaho St. in Rovana, a ghost town of the vanadium era.  Optional return along the gorgeous Owens Gorge. Traditional lunch at the end of the ride at Erick Schat’s Bakery, 763 N.
