C/3.5(3500')/41 SLOW DEATH RIDE – CARSON PASS AND BLUE LAKES

For our final "Slow Death Ride" we'll drive to the starting location at 7100' and take a shorter route to climb to the summit of Carson Pass at 8580’, then return via the same route. After that we will ride out beautiful Blue Lakes Road to Upper Blue Lake Campground, then return via the same route. Ride will be led at a moderate C pace, but faster riders are welcome to form their own group(s). Ride meets at the parking area at the intersection of Highway 88 and Blue Lakes Road at 9:15 for a 9:30 am departure. NOTE - alternate longer route starting from our Grover Hot Springs Campsite will also be available.
