Lunch for C's and D's is at Ray's Deli outside Petaluma - service is VERY slow at Ray's so please pre-order your lunch online (or pack lunch). Go to: https://www.rays-deli.com/menus up to 48 hours in advance to order. Expected rider arrival time is C+ = 11:45 / C- = 12:15 / D = 12:30. (Alternative is Petaluma Creamery 2 blocks further on Western Avenue). B and E riders stop for lunch in Tomales or at the Cheese Factory.
LDT RIDE: PETALUMA
Enjoy beautiful views of Marin County from scenic rolling roads, along with some moderate climbs including Wilson Hill. D’s do an “out-and-back” section on scenic Marshall-Petaluma Road, while the E’s continue on to spectacular Tomales Bay. B’s (and E’s) will lunch at the Marin Cheese Factory, while the C’s and D’s have lunch at Ray’s Deli on the outskirts of Petaluma before rolling home via a stop at the Cheese Factory. C route has shorter "C-" option returning via bike paths - see route maps/route sheets for details. Easy shortcut on B route skips Wilson Hill – see route sheet. Rain cancels. MEETING TIME: 9:15 am for 9:30 departure
MEETING LOCATION: Marin County Civic Center (Armory Drive, San Rafael, CA). From the Golden Gate Bridge take 101 north approximately 14 miles to North San Pedro Road. Exit eastbound, and turn left at Civic Center Drive (first stop light). Turn right onto Armory Drive which leads into the large parking lot.
