We’ll climb to Skyline via various routes. C’s climb Redwood Gulch, a 1.4 miles steep grade, while B, D, and E routes proceed directly up Hwy 9. All routes then enjoy a quiet ride south along the summit. E’s take a side trip to Lexington Reservoir via Black Road. B’s and C’s will head south to the Summit Store for lunch before returning via Lexington Reservoir and the Los Gatos Creek Trail (there are some gravel sections on the trail). D’s and E’s glide down to Boulder Creek for lunch then return via the beautiful redwoods of Big Basin State Park. Rain cancels. Online route sheets/maps/gps.

MEETING LOCATION: Saratoga High School (20300 Herriman Avenue, Saratoga, CA). Take Highway 85 to Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd. exit. Turn south (right turn coming from Palo Alto); left on Herriman; right into school.
