Warm up for your weekend of fun with a Friday ride starting in Napa (on the way to Bothe Napa State Park). We’ll explore the hills bordering Napa Valley’s western edge. After touring the edges of Napa, we’ll ascend Mt. Veeder Road, climbing up to an altitude of about 1400 feet before enjoying the wonderful descent on Dry Creek Road back to town. This is an afternoon ride that will meet at 11:30 am for an 11:45 am departure. Late lunch/snacks/drinks at Squeeze Inn Burgers (or alternate) at the end of the ride. Note that today’s ride starts 16 miles South of St. Helena, directly on the driving route to the state park where we’ll be camping Friday night. We will have separate C- and C+/D riding groups as needed. All groups are expected to be back to the start by about 3:30 pm. Online route sheets/maps/gps.
