Taken from the pages of “75 Classic Rides, Northern California. The Best Biking Routes” the Coyote Creek Loop ride incorporates a series of bike trails, including the Coyote Creek Trail, flatland rambles and a good 440’/1-mile hill climb and a 1000’/2-mile descent to create a challenging mix both suburban and backroads cycling. We will meet at the Tully Community Branch Library parking lot (880 Tully Rd, San Jose) at 10 am for a 10:15 departure. Leader: Howard Koel, howard@koel.me, cell 650-302-1053. Plan on bringing a lunch. This is a new ride for me so be prepared for something new. If I learn of a reliable lunch spot, prior to the ride date, I will send out a supplemental email with optional lunch instructions.
