B/1/27 FIVE TRAILS TO DOWNTOWN

Join Bill Eaglstein (302 342   4053),  (weaglstein@gmail.com) and George Schuttinger (650-793-4221)(gschuttinger@hotmail.com) for a ride to downtown San Jose on five trails. Meet at Orchard Gardens Park, 238 Garner Drive, Sunnyvale, (which is the start of the JW Christian Green Belt) at 9:45 for a 10:00 departure. Parking is on street and it is important that you use the following directions to the meeting point. By car from the north: Take Mathilda north to just past 101.(Don’t believe you can do it the opposite way) Go right at Ross (it comes before 237) Then right @ Bradford. This becomes Garner. You will see tennis courts on the right. Park there (observe signs). Probably best & less confusing to avoid 101. By bike/ Caltrain: (Ride start is less than 2 mi from.Sunnyvale Sta): Go north on Sunnyvale Ave, left jog to Borregas at Maude. Take Borregas over the 101 bike bridge. Continue north less than ½ mile & you will see  JW Christian Greenway.Take that left to tennis courts . Lunch will be on the Peralto Adobe plaza next to the oldest house in San Jose at San Pedro Square Market (food court with many choices) in Downtown San Jose.
