Tomorrow (Friday) remains questionable for riding as tonight's storm has slowed a bit. I am delaying the meeting time two hours to 1:15 pm for a 1:30 pm start. See online schedule for ride details. Current estimate is 50/50 chance of riding...If it turns out to be too wet to ride, I strongly suggest driving out to the Lake Sonoma Overlook (where we go on the ride). At the beautiful overlook there is a short uphill hike (1/4 mile paved road so running shoes are fine). We can carpool if that is the decision...

LDT FRIDAY RIDE: HEALDSBURG TO SONOMA RESERVOIR
Come a bit early for the Healdsburg LDT Weekend and enjoy an afternoon jaunt up to Sonoma Reservoir west of Healdsburg. This is an afternoon ride that will meet at 11:15 am for an 11:30 am 1:15 pm for a 1:30 pm departure (we should be back by 5-6 pm). We'll follow Dry Creek Road on our way out to the reservoir, then after a climb to a beautiful lookout we’ll return via lovely smooth West Dry Creek Road. This is social paced C ride but faster (or slower) riders are welcome to form a separate ride group at the start if desired. No lunch break, but bring a snack to enjoy at the lookout. Rain cancels. MEETING LOCATION: Meet in Healdsburg at the free public parking area on Matheson Street, one block west of Plaza Park (follow signs to “All Day Parking”). There are public restrooms at the start. If lot is full, park on nearby streets – plan enough extra time to make your way to the start on time.
