Meet Howard Shafer (408 712-4573 or jhshafer@sbcglobal.net) at the Sunnyvale Community Center at 9:45 am for a 10:00 am start on this beautiful ride. Our destination is up a steep, shady, mountain road past ancient redwood trees. We’ll eat lunch in a fairy circle by a turtle pond. There aren’t any restaurants nearby, so bring your lunch. And don’t be too intimidated by the mention of steep hills: Yes, they’re steep, but they’re short. We’ll ride at a B pace. Nobody will be involuntarily left behind.
