Meet Howard Shafer and Jacquette Ward (408-712-4573 or jhshafer@sbcglobal.net) at the parking lot on the south side (the side with the orchard) of the Sunnyvale Community Center in, surprise, Sunnyvale at 9:45am for a 10:00am departure for this social ride. We’ll wander through moderate hills on the west side of Foothill Expressway at a B pace and then wander through flat streets on the east side of Foothill Expressway at a similar pace. Bring lunch or buy. Nuclear war, intolerable smoke in the air, rain, and locust plagues, or similar catastrophes cancel.
