HillsRUs rolls weekly on Wednesdays

Route often includes Hwy 9, Page Mill, Old La Honda, Kings Mountain, West Alpine or Tunitas Creek. Always be prepared for variable weather on Skyline. Foul weather in the hills keeps the ride in the valley.

Start location and route announced Monday prior, via wwbc-rides email list and this page (scroll down to the blog).

Meet at 8:45 AM and roll at 9:00 AM departure. DE riders will depart first, C+ will follow.

Ride Leaders rotate weekly - Don Johann, Shawnery Hardin, Jack Jones and Steve Rempel, with guest appearances by Michael Khaw, Gary Virshup, Cathy Switzer, and others.

    Due to the rain on Wednesday, the Social D group is going to meet at Shoup (9:45 for 10:00 start) tomorrow, Tuesday, March 5th.  We'll do the Wednesday listed ride, Louis Lunacy, Modified. Route sheet here, or see the Hills R Us blog entry for Wednesday March 6.

    After sharing leadership of Hills R Us for over a year, as well as having been substitute leader countless times before, Mike Harding has retired from leading Hills R Us. Thanks, Mike! We hope you'll be back to ride with us and will miss you.

    Martha Landis Kiernan, who co-leads the Social Climbers version of the ride, will join the route planning rotation in Mike's place.

    I'm reorganizing some of the directory structure of the image files used on the Western Wheelers website to reduce clutter and chaos. I don't know how smart the underlying service is about it. If it isn't some of the older posts on this blog may suffer "broken image" links. I'll fix them up as they're found.
