Feliz Primavera! Come enjoy great company and delicious food at the Western Wheelers' annual Spring Picnic. We will be in a new location this year at Cuesta Park in Mountain View, where the fiesta will begin at 1 pm in the large group picnic area off Cuesta Drive (opposite Nilda Avenue).
In our Cinco de Mayo tradition, we will have Mexican food from a local taqueria, as well as salads, dessert and refreshments. Please register so we have enough for all. There will be rides scheduled to cycle to the picnic to work up an appetite and start the party, so check out our ride calendar to find your ride.
New this year: We will have a bike clothing free box/swap, so please bring any new or gently used bike jerseys or other bike clothing you’d like to rehome.
Also, Bob Parker will bring bike polo gear, ball and mallets for anyone who would like to give bike polo a try (best done with wide-tired or mountain bikes). Contact Bob with any questions at bob.parker@sbcglobal.net.
