WW Photo Contest Deadline Extended to Dec. 6

2017 Bicycling Photography Contest

The Photography Contest at the Holiday Party is always very popular so we will be having another contest at the end of 2017.  We would like to encourage budding photographers to take photos throughout the year & submit them to the contest.  

The deadline is extended to December 6, 2017.

The Rules

• Photos must be taken between Nov. 1, 2016 and Dec. 6, 2017
  
• Photos must be related to biking in some way
  
• Submissions are limited to 2 photos per contestant
  
• Photos must be taken and submitted by a Western Wheeler member
• Submissions include a 1-line caption with each photo
• No professionals
  
• Each contestant limited to 1 prize
• Members will vote at the Holiday Party for the 3 winners 
• Committee may choose favorites
  
• Photographers are anonymous for the vote
  
• Submissions may be published in The Flat Tyre, newspapers, and websites
  
• Submit between Nov. 1 and Dec. 6, 2017, by email
  

Submission: Send to vpelton@vertical-edge.com . Photos will be printed and displayed at the Holiday Party. Although the committee will crop photographs to 8"x10" if needed, it's better for the submitter to crop his/her own photo. Include full name. All email submissions will be acknowledged.  If you haven't heard from us in 24 hours, please resubmit.
