If you aren't celebrating at the Bike Hut, come join me for this scenic wander around Stanford University from Shoup Park. We will visit a number of notable sites - the Weeping Angel, the Stanford mausoleum, the cactus garden, the Red Barn, the list goes on. Expect a leisurely social ride with lots of stopping to look around and take photographs. There is minimal climbing and lots of back road use.
Meet William Mueller (k2_stp@yahoo.com, 408 464-3092) at Shoup Park for a 9:30 am sign-in, 9:45 ride start. Depending on the group's desire and timing, we can do lunch on campus at Tressider (mile 18), or in Los Altos after the ride.
