Ice Cream Social - Volunteers

• AVAILABLE - Ice Cream Replenishers
  Paul Wendt will need help putting out the ice cream during the event. When it's hot, people eat more ice cream and Paul will need help resupplying the ice cream. 🍨 This position needs to show up at the at 1:45pm for instructions from Paul.
• Choppers and Toppers
  Chop fruit (strawberries, blueberries, black berries, raspberries, bananas, and nectarines). Arrange other toppings, (nuts, whipped cream, M&Ms and chocolate chips and syrups — chocolate, strawberry, caramel and marshmallow). All these goodies are supplied but need chopping and organizing into provided bowls. These helpers must be at the event at 12:30pm.
• Clean Up
  Stay a bit longer to help remove tablecloths, wash serving dishes, and move trash to dumpsters. Recruit helpful bystanders. No heavy lifting. Help pack the extra ice cream. These helpers should report to the Event Chair around 3:30pm. This goes pretty quickly. Western Wheelers members are great!
• Dry Ice - Not needed, Paul gets the dry ice.
  Safeway carries dry ice. Order ahead of time and bring 4 pieces of dry ice in a cooler. The dry ice keeps the ice cream well-chilled throughout the ice cream social. Send a copy of the receipt to Mike Rissi mfrissi@gmail.com for reimbursement.
• Folding Tables and Canopies to and from Storage Container
  Bring 4 lightweight plastic folding tables and 3 tent canopies from the Storage Locker in Cupertino. Then help setup the tables and canopies. This position needs to show up between 12:30pm and 12:45pm. Return them. Easy, peasy. (More tabletop space, more goodies!)
• Root Beer, Orange Sodas and Coffee
  Bring a large cooler with ice and 6 two-liter bottles of Root Beer (5 regular and 1 diet; and 3 two-liter bottles of Fanta Orange Soda (2 regular and 1 diet); and 2 containers of coffee (96 oz from Starbucks). This volunteer should be at the event between 1:15pm to 1:30pm. Send a copy of the receipt to Mike Rissi mfrissi@gmail.com for reimbursement. (Paypal easiest.)
• Table Covers
  Use supplied materials to brush and cover tables. This volunteer needs to be at the event at 12:30pm. This is fast and easy.
