Spring is nature's way of saying, 'Let's Party!' Come enjoy great company and delicious food at the Western Wheelers' annual Spring Picnic. We will be at Cuesta Park in Mountain View. The party will begin at 1 pm in the large group picnic area off Cuesta Drive (opposite Nilda Avenue).
We're going Far East this year with the sandwiches; think Vietnamese sandwiches (Banh Mi - a delicious Vietnamese street food sandwich, Banh Mi translates to "bread" and is made with a split French baguette filled with savory ingredients. Traditional fillings include BBQ pork, grilled chicken, curry tofu, and grilled beef. These sandwiches are served with crunchy vegetables, creamy mayonnaise, and pickled vegetables).
So, in the Western Wheelers' tradition, we will have good eats, as well as delicious cookies, and bottomless refreshments. Please register so we have enough for all. There will be rides scheduled to cycle to the picnic to work up an appetite and start the party, so check out our ride calendar to find your ride.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT from Cindy Asrir:
It's spring cleaning time! Do you have bike jerseys or shorts that are gathering dust in your closet while you wonder what to do with them? Do you have bike clothes that you never wear or no longer fit? Bring them to the Spring Picnic on April 27 for our bike clothing swap!
This is an opportunity to rehome new or gently used bike clothing to someone who can wear and appreciate them. We will have a picnic table at the event, so please stop by if you have clothing to donate or want to do some free "shopping."
Please make sure all clothing is clean and new or in good condition. We will accept jerseys, jackets, bibs and shorts--please no bike parts or accessories, and no shoes, socks, gloves, helmets or headbands unless new. Any leftover items will be donated to charity.
