Earlier this year, Tim Oey bicycled 5000 miles from San Francisco to Boston while giving 254 talks about Oceans, Plastic, Climate Change, and Kids and raising money for bicycling nonprofits to reduce climate change. Come learn about self supported long distance bicycle touring, see some of his cross country pictures, and discover how his household generates just a quart of trash a month. He hopes many others will bike across the US as well as help our world become a better place to bicycle... and to breathe.

Tim is a long time cycling advocate. He was the VP of Rides for the Charles River Wheelers in Boston and a founding board member of the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition. He often speaks at City Council Meetings on behalf of bicyclists and is the SVBC representative to the Caltrans District 4 Bicycle Advisory Committee. He is also a League Cycling Instructor who loves to teach people how to bike and how to bike better.

The Sports Basement graciously provides their community room and a discount coupon

Mark Cooney, Dave Maracnik, Bobbie Morrison, Tina Pham, Lynn Repetsky, and Taghi Saadati help to make this possible.  Contact Mona Schorow for more info.
