Ice Cream Social - Volunteers

• Clean Up
  Four people to stay a bit longer to help remove tablecloths, wash serving dishes, and move trash to dumpsters. No heavy lifting. Help pack the extra ice cream. These helpers should begin their work at 3:30pm.
• Ice Cream Toppings Prep
  Six people to chop fruit (strawberries, blueberries, black berries, raspberries, bananas, and nectarines) and arrange other toppings (nuts, whipped cream, M&Ms and chocolate chips and syrups — chocolate, strawberry, caramel and marshmallow). All these goodies are supplied but need chopping and organizing into provided bowls. These helpers must be at the event at 12:30pm.
• Ice Cream Unloading
  One person to help Paul Wendt unload the coolers containing the ice cream from his car. The coolers are heavy so being able to lift up to 50 pounds for short distances is required for this job. This volunteer will work from 1:30-2:00 pm
• Locker Run
  Two people to pick-up 4 lightweight plastic folding tables, 3 awnings, 1 water container and some plastic and paper goods from the Storage Locker in Cupertino and deliver these supplies to the Ice Cream Social at 12:30pm. These volunteers also help set-up the tables and canopies and return the supplies to the Storage Locker after the Event. A truck or large car is required.
• Root Beer, Orange Sodas and Coffee Floats Coordinator
  One person to bring a card table for the float station and a large cooler, ice and all of the supplies needed for the ice cream floats. The float supplies are vanilla ice-cream, 6 two-liter bottles of Root Beer (5 regular and 1 diet; and 3 two-liter bottles of Fanta Orange Soda (2 regular and 1 diet); and 2 containers of coffee (96 oz from Starbucks). This volunteer should arrive at the event at 1:30pm and set-up, and then monitor the float table as needed. Send a copy of the receipt to Mike Rissi mfrissi@gmail.com for reimbursement. • Table Covers and Water Set-up
  Two people to help unload supplies. Brush off and cover tables with supplied materials and set-up ice water. These helpers must be at the event at 12:30pm.
