Meet at The Bicycle Outfitter at 8 am for a 8:15 roll out.

Duration of the class is expected to be 3-4 hours, depending on conditions.  Please plan accordingly.

This women only class covers the techniques you need for effective climbing and fun, safe descending.

Skills that will be covered:

  - Cornering Techniques: Apex, late apex, early apex turning

  - Hip steering and “disconnecting” bike and rider

  - Braking Techniques: Before corner, mid corner course corrections

  - Body position for  efficient climbing and safe descending

  - Standing and shifting on climbs

This advanced class requires that you be fully proficient in the skills taught in the foundational class (emergency stops, avoidance, effective braking, etc). If not, we strongly recommend that you complete the Cycling Fundamentals class before taking this course.

LOGISTICS/PAYMENT-  Information about meeting times and places will be sent to all registrants prior to their class.

The cost to Western Wheelers who are on family or individual memberships in good standing (no guests, please) is $50 per student per class.  (Note that the $50 cost for participants represents a discounted rate subsidized by WWBC.)

Payment is due in full at the time of registration and is non-refundable. Registrations may be transferred to other club members in good standing.
