2016 Photo Contest Begins

2016 PHOTO CONTEST

Our popular annual photo contest opens on November 1, 2016. We encourage budding photographers to take photos throughout the year & submit them.

Submissions due by December 7.

The Rules

• Must be taken between Dec. 1, 2015 and Dec. 7, 2016
  
• Must be related to biking
  
• Limit of 2 photos per contestant
  
• Taken and submitted by a Western Wheeler member
• Please, include a 1-line caption with each photo.
• No professionals
  
• Maximum of one prize per contestant
  
• Club members will have one vote for their favorite photograph at the Holiday Party. Three winners will be chosen.
  
• Committee favorites may be chosen.
  
• Photos anonymous for the vote
  
• Submissions allowed to be published in The Flat Tyre, newspapers, and websites.
  
• Submit between Nov. 1 and Dec. 7, 2016, by email or US Mail.
  

Submissions by email: Send to vpelton@vertical-edge.com . Photos will be printed and displayed at the Holiday Party. Although the committee will crop as needed, the submitter should crop his/her own photo. Include full name. All email submissions will be acknowledged.  If you haven't heard from us in 24 hours, please resubmit.

Up to 8”x10” prints only, mounting optional. Include your full name & email address. Photos will not be returned. Please also send file via email so it can be displayed on the website. If no file is emailed, the printed version will be scanned with loss of quality.
